Time Warner Cable "a good ISP for copyright infringers"? That's a stupid quote.

Time Warner (music, magazines, books, TV, movies, everything) has decided to drop the suits against it's own Cable ISP subscribers that involve P2P file sharing. It's refreshing to see such a behemoth with clear access to any subscribers data stream bow out gracefully of this futile effort. The only way to get people to pay for media like entertainment when we can just take it like a damn kid in a candy store, especially in our economic times right now as a country, is to make quality products that add more value over time. I buy most of my games on consoles these days. Why? I used to download every game for PC I could, I would burn them to DVD, and then literally toss them in a binder. I buy for consoles because of the convenience of sitting on a couch, the fact that now console games are graphically the equivalent of PC games (PC games always had "HD" per-say) and the fact that I now buy games ensures I make sure it is a quality product from a proven developer and that I enjoy the genre. Certain games are so freaking awesome that they rewrite the book for me. I never used to play FPS on consoles, but I played "The Darkness" on my 360 and that sealed it. i learned new skills like how2aimwithstick and now play regularly online COD2. For me, the times are changing uber fast. Why haven't more companies felt that and taken note like Warner? We are all consumers and we need buyers and sellers in order to consume our fill of life. For some, maybe they don't have the money, or are little kids, or just thumb their nose at norms like purchasing things with their money. In the end, when it's brass tacks, the board members and executives can't take it with them, and fortunes that vast don't help anyone in their new money or old money lineage that a far less vast, but still Worker Mang "ZOMG that's a fucking lot of money!!", fortune wouldn't.

Tax the shit outta it and lets smoke and pay teachers and make money for the economy and get some much needed love and pride for being Californian!

In simpler and boring ass days, it was a dream for folks east, north and south to come to California and make it big. Even the dread the stuck and the elderly felt at their kin daring go to such a place, with its rock music and surfers, brought a sense of magic to this slice of the modern US. California is the test lab for the rest of the world oft times, and we are on the front of new and exciting changes in our own lives that will echo for generations to come.

That feeling can be rekindled by making sure our state is more than on the brink of times come and times yet to come! Don't make the legality of drugs or the marriage standards the only place we can change this country and therefore world. Keep up with issues you care about, regardless of lack of public or media interest.

Remember though Marines: Don't use weed EVER in boot/mct/student status. Don't use it in garrison if you can help it. Enhance the corps by paying respect to our customs and traditions, which say clear no on any substance that may even for a second impair your ability or will to fight and die for yourself, loved ones, country, and future of all humankind. Don't be a shit bag no matter what you do or where you fight. Good to go, Devil?
